We don’t need to leave for Anguilla until about 5pm, so we used the opportunity to visit the Baths. This famous location on Virgin Gorda is a must see in the BVIs. It is formed by natural rock piles and I mean huge rocks piled up. Fortunately no boy scout leaders have felt the need to push over the balancing rocks “for safety reasons.” I don’t think they could budge them if they tried.
We did not move the boat, but dinghied over from where we clear out of the country. We tied the dinghy to the rope marking off the swim area and swam ashore. Yep, our dinghy is waaaay out there.
I wish we had move the boat over, though. It would have been a cool shot of the boat from the rocks. Not to mention easier on my spine and bottom! But it was worth it.
