It was time for our son, Devan, to leave and for us to head to San Andres, so we sailed back to Linton Bay Marina. While there, we took the dinghy across to monkey island. That’s not its real name, but that was all we were interested in. Howler monkeys filled the air with their unique voices on mainland Panama, but monkey island was populated with spider monkeys.
We saw them right away up in the trees and we were fascinated by the way they moved with their extremely long limbs and prehensile tails.
Interesting to watch, but not interesting in the photos. So we waited.
